THE LOST ORIGINAL VERSION

Before Frøstfǽdrin - The call of the white griffin it took on its present form, it existed in a completely different shape.

In this early version, Alex was a 14-year-old protagonist, embedded in a wintery, Christmassy atmosphere - conceived as a classic young adult novel that artfully interwove magic, warmth and adventure. It was a story about friendship, first secrets and that special feeling that somewhere in the distance something bigger is waiting for you.

📝 Your exclusive gift: The first 15 Chapter of this original version, supplemented by a concept sketch of the 16th chapter. This version will never find its way into the public domain - but as a faithful companion on my journey, you will have the exclusive opportunity to delve into the beginnings of Frøstfǽdrin to immerse yourself, draw comparisons and experience the development of history at first hand.

❄️ The turning point of my creative journey I decided to start from scratch. In order to tell the story that is really close to my heart, my characters had to gain maturity and life experience.

The new Alex is no longer at the beginning of puberty, but on the threshold of adulthood. This allows me to explore more profound themes, to explore the complexity of loss and to make the consequences of decisions tangible. The genre has evolved - towards new-adult, dark fantasy with a subtle hint of romance. Not dominant, but definitely present.

The structure also underwent a fundamental transformation: the original beginning was rambling - too rambling. Some 60-65% of the manuscript occurred before the actual journey took its course. In the new version, this part is more concise, more focused and condensed to 30-40%. The result: a more concentrated narrative style.

🌌 Looking back and moving forward Some ideas, characters and scenes from the original version will never find their way into the final work. That's why I'm sharing them with you - because they represent significant milestones on this creative odyssey. And because you are an essential part of this journey.
