I have always lived my life outside the norm. I always knew that I wanted to do something creative - and that's what I did. For many years I was a designer and filmmaker, designing brands, telling stories in pictures and colors. It made me happy, but something was missing.<\/p>\n
It took me years to admit to myself that my true passion is not just design. It's storytelling, touching people through emotions. But I doubted myself for a long time. With an F in German and English, barely able to write a straight email, I thought I could never write stories myself. I was convinced I would only ever admire other writers without ever being one myself.<\/p>\n
And yet I dared to do it. My journey began a year ago. Very hesitantly, with a cocktail book that tells of travel, bars and adventures. With a podcast in which I began to reflect on life in my own way. And suddenly there were stories - so many that I couldn't let them go.<\/p>\n
I don't want to call myself an \"author\" or \"writer\" yet. I don't feel ready for that yet. But I am a storyteller who is growing, learning and learning to love this medium.<\/p>\n
I made an important decision this year: I'm going to take a new path. A path that many will laugh at because I supposedly don't have the training for it. But passion knows no rules.<\/p>\n
I have stepped down from my work as a designer for clients to devote myself fully to my own projects next year: My stories. My writing. My dream.<\/p>\n
